These are some of the most beneficial exercises I’ve compiled from various instructors.

The following tips is applicable for all exercises.

 

  • Listen to the instrument.

  • Once you’re completely confident in the melody, embrace it!

  • Be aware of any unintentional ornaments.

  • Hold the instrument gently and relax.

  • Have an upright posture.

  • Relax your embouchure.

  • Be aware of any articulations or other separations between the notes.
