Here you choose which tune you want to learn and practice. All the rest of the content will adjust to the tune you've just picked; the drones, audio-loops and links etc.
Links to my sheet music PDF with basic chords suggestions is also available here as well as links to other versions at Norbeck's ABC & The Session.
You can also search for a tune here by simply typing the name of the tune (as long as you know the name of the tune), and that tune (If I have it on my site, that is) will be selected in the list.
I've set the difficulty level on each tune simply from how easy or hard I think they are to play on the flute.

Off to California - Hornpipe G
Use this first video to listen to the tune when it's represented in faster speed. So you know what the "end result" of the tune could sound like. This is how it could sound in a live session. Perhaps even faster. The videos should loop by themselves.
Off to California - Hornpipe G - Slower
Use the second video play along and learn the tune at a much slower pace. (In the courses section, you can speed up / slow down the videos further). A great way to learn is to listen repeatedly again and again.
Off to California - Hornpipe G - Ornaments
In the third video the content varies, (and most videos don't have a third video yet) but mostly I go through ornaments and details. These are very helpful when you want to learn the secrets of how to play the tunes properly in a "traditional manner". It may also be here when you learn the most.
Use this to loop certain parts of the selected tune. Perfect to learn one part at a time. Listening over and over is a great way to learn the tune by ear. You can also download the audio files as a zip-file. In the courses section you can change the speed of the audio files.

DRONES
These two videos are drones of the first and the fifth note in the scale/key of the selected tune. You may turn on one or both of these together with the audio of the tune above and it should play simultaneously.
DRONE CIRCLE
In the premium version, you'll find a circle of drones here where you can activate multiple drones at once, adjusting their volumes individually as they play simultaneously. The further from the center, the higher the volume.
Try for example: D3, A2, F#1, B2 (counting from the center).
This is a beautiful chord that works to play in both D-Major and B-minor at the same time.

ONLY IN PREMIUM
METRONOME
Select rhythm and tempo, all audio will loop after approx. 10 minutes. You can have the metronome and the drones playing simultaneously.
For example, if you want to practice a jig in G, turn on Jig, and tempo of your choice, then G-Drone, if you want a more colorful drone in the background try turning on several (surrounding G) in the circle below.

This way, you can quickly find the tune. This list is also available on the "Premium Tunes" page.
