FLUTE EXERCISES (free preview)

These are some of the most beneficial exercises I’ve compiled from various teachers.

Ordered from basic to more advanced.

The following tips is applicable for all exercises.

 

  1. Listen to the instrument.

  2. Once you’re completely confident in the melody, embrace that!

  3. Be aware of any 'unintentional' ornamentation.

  4. Hold the instrument gently and in a relaxed position.

  5. Have an upright posture.

  6. Relax your embouchure.

  7. Be aware of any articulations or other separations between the notes.
